Software Developer
I am a student at Brigham Young University pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. I am currently exploring development in SwiftUI, and my goal is to build and develop augmented reality technology. I am interested in learning how to build apps and software that are suited for AR/VR, what goes into the making related hardware, and how to improve it.
In my sophomore year at Owen J. Roberts High School, I wrote an app called OJR SuperFan that was made available on the Apple App Store in 2019 and allowed users to scan barcodes at school events to learn more information and earn rewards.
I attended Harvard's Summer Program for High School Students for both 2019 and 2020 and took college courses including CS20 and CS50. For my final project in 2020, I developed a mini-scale version of Instagram called Social App using the Swift language in XCode. The app was fully functional and allowed users to create accounts, publish posts, follow other users, and save posts on their profiles.

In addition to programming, my other passion in life is music. In my senior year of high school, I wrote and produced an album called Lonely Boy as well as several singles that are available for purchase and streaming on all major platforms including Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music.
After high school, I served as a volunteer missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic for two years. During my mission, I served the local community and represented the church. I also presided over a congregation of around 50 Church members and investigators, managed Church funds, planned Sunday services and events, taught classes and discussions, and trained other missionaries. I also obtained fluency in Spanish.
